That sounds like somethign from the novel. But if so, then Cao Cao pretty much intended the death of a lot of people.

lol alright, well that could also be one of Luo Guanzhong's biased reasonings against Cao Cao, but either way it seems unfair from that point of view.

Ok, this brings us to an interesting point: should we trust the Luo Guanzhong or not? And in my opinion, this really depends on what we are looking at, the history or the novel.

If we look at history, then everything would be clear. There won't be any bias, that's for sure. But, it was the novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" that made the era famous. A lot of the events and characters did not even exist, or not as dramatic as in the novel. So if we only look at the history, then most characters won't even be that fascinating.

If we look at the novel, then yes it is not fair for some characters because the author had bias. However, I don't think Luo Guanzhong is not that bad for an author. He does have bias, he thinks Liu Bei is good, and Cao Cao is bad. But Luo has always stated the reasons why Cao Cao did things that he did; and Luo has always talked about the bad stuff that Liu Bei had done (ex: betrayed Lu Bu). So Luo isn't being unreasonably unfair.

So what I'm saying is: If we look at the novel, then we only look at the novel, and don't question too much about whether it's in the history. If we like Cao because of Luo's novel, then we shouldn't ignore the part where he criticized him. If the event was written in the novel, then let's just accept it as it had happened. Because we are talking about the novel after all.

I Like Liu Bei Cause He Fights For The People And Great Enemies With Cao Cao!!

I'd say more of a rivalry then enemies. Until a certain extent however, because Cao Cao help aid Wu into killing Guan Yu.

The 1 i like the most would be Liu Bei, and i would like to work with him! but the best has to be Cao Cao, he has ambitions to fill! he does not back down from anything! even Lu Bu, i would class him as the most fierce leader as well! but you never know! no-one tends to see the pee'd off side of Liu Bei, and the same with Sun Jian!

But The Only Thing That Gets Me Down Is The Fact That Liu Bei Dosnt Really Like To Fight!

True, Liu Bei lacks the fighting part, Cao Cao lacks the loyalty to the people and his officers, Sun Jian has a bit of both, is isnt as loyal as Liu Bei and doesnt like fighting as much as Cao Cao would.

I would still have to stick with Liu Bei though, he knows what he has to do, and his more fierce officers convince him into this.

What about Cao Pi, Sun Quan and Liu Chan/Zhuge Liang, who do we thing is the best out of them? I think the Liu Bei, Sun Jian and Cao Cao posts are dying a bit.

I Think Sun Quan He Lost His Brother And His Father, It Must Have Been Alot To Cope With!

They all seemed to rely on there strategists to much, Cao Pi only really did something on He Fei Castle, and that was walk into an ambush, i would go for Sun Quan for the same reason as well. Then again if ZHou Tai was not around Sun Quan would not of made it past the Attack On Wu Territory
