I can tell... Lu Bu was betrayed farly before Xia Pi, one of his retainers (don't remember the name) working for cao cao stole the city of Xu Zhou, then Xiaopei and in the end hou cheng, wei xu and song xian betrayed him in Xia Pi (ah and yuan shu did't send the reinforcements)... I think that if he had still had Red Hare and the halberd he'd have killed a lot of cao cao's men just like in DW5 ( " you cannot steal my might etc. )

Those were the main reasons he lost.

Especially that he lost his horse and halberd, Lu Bu was still a force to be recognized when he fought on the battlefield. It still doesn't stop his bow skills though...

It'd definetely be close, but Sun Ce is a bit over-rated, he's never really been known for his strenght unlike Gan Ning, so i think he'd be pretty useless in the battle.

Lu Bu is far stronger than Sun Ce and Gan Ning together. Even if there were more generals helping Sun Ce and Gan Ning Lu Bu would beat them all anyway.

Lu Bu lasted 100 bouts with the three Brothers. Guan Yu and Zhang Fei being most noted, and Liu Bei wasn't too weak. Lu Bu must have been one hell of a fighter t stand up to them so long, and still live.

A better match would be Lu Bu vs Zhang Fei or Lu Bu vs Guan Yu or even Lu Bu vs Zhang Fei and Guan Yu

if used effectively Lu Bu should win due to the great reach advantage he has over the relatively short ranged attacks of Sun Ce and Gan Ning.

Just so you know, Lu Bu wasn't exactly evil. He was basically a misanthrope, pretty much the only person he liked was a fictitious character we call Diao Chan.

I have to agree with Zero Melfice. Sun Ce and Gan Ning would be able to overcome Lu Bu when dealing with soldiers and strategies. A fight 1 on 2 they might stand a chance of leaving the battle alive but not killing Lu Bu.

pls tell me how do i get Gao Shun as my permanent officer cause i know he holds LuBu's red horse.....

hmm... In duel, I don't think Gan Ning and Sun Ce can win against Lu Bu. It's not balance. Look at the size of Lu Bu's weapon..
But in the field, with troops and strategies, Sun Ce and Gan Ning fight on the same side, I think they still have a chance to overcome Lu Bu.

Good points. I feel the same way. In duel Lu Bu is strongest.

In a duel, it's pretty balanced. Lu Bu, while strong, I'm sure he couldn't swing his weapon as fast as they allowed him to do so in the game. Halberds are *bleep*ing heavy, lol.

But Gan Ning was a crafty pirate, and Sun Ce was a pretty good fighter as well as a great strategist. So, all in all, I'd say 2v1 it'd be pretty close. They wouldn't try to outpower Lu Bu, like Guan Yu and Zhang Fei would, they would try to outmaneuver and out-smart him.
