Walls?

I've been playing, and have gotten into most of the castle by now and I can't seem to find any break away walls. Those little hidden treasures are a mainstay of the castlevania games. Did they leave them out or have I just not found them yet?

Edit: I had a question as well, Does anybody have any tips for the big bipedal Mutant thing at the top (I think it's the top) of the condemned tower. He's killed me alot with the death beam, petrifying gas, jumping on my head, taking the floor out, I think he sneezed on me once (lol)... ect.

I am at work and the internet blocks won't let me hit any game sites to get a walkthrough, just forums, ty

Edit Nuber two: Just beat him (Gergoth), he went easy on me... No lazer, no petrify, kinda disapointed.

re: Walls?

A good way to find these walls is to collect the soul, Peeping Eye, you get this from the first floating eye ball monster in the begining area of course though it has a *** rarity an should take some time to eventually get.

Once you have this Soul equip it and run through the castle you should see a huge indicator that a wall is able to be broken into as it'll have a huge orb flashing around it.

But just for help i'll post a layout of the entire castle map just so you can look for those extra hidden rooms that you can find. (I am at work right now so I don't have the pic saved on this PC)

re: Walls?

I ended up finding one last night, as a matter of fact, after I upgraded the Mace to the Morgenstern (sp?) near the begining of the castle. It was in the floor of the Hall leading to the room with two mirrors separated by a wall, the one mirror's image follows you.

I also got the gold ring from the 666 room and just blasted Ghouls until I saved enough to buy the Souleater ring. Based on your tip, Peeping Eye are gonna die tonight

Thanks for the help

re: Walls?

Btw here is layout of the entire map.

Credit of Jae Bird @ gamefaqs (where I found it)

all I did was compare my in game map to this and looked for any small blocks or parts that I may not have explored, most of the secret areas are just small rooms that are only one block big.

re: Walls?

here's some tips for geregoth if you still didn't beat him.

when he bows down and appears to be charging up, backdash to the door, or else you'll get poisoned/turned into stone/ cursed. when his face peels back, slide into his feet(the closest you can get without getting damamged) and the beam will just miss you. he stomps before the floors crash. when he does that, back into the right corner, and hit him while you're falling. he will get his head stuck into the floor for a while, so go in and get a few good hits. the killer clown (bullet soul) helped me out here, it hits fast and is about 10 less then your normal attack (if you're using the axe).
