I'm a major axe person myself. Especially since, after collecting the right souls, you can take the normal everyday axe all the way up to Death's Sythe. Which, is the most powerful weapon in the game to my knowledge. I kick some major ass with it!

since aria of sorrow, i haven't changed my favorite sword, Dawn of Sorrow's Ultimate Great Sword, the Claimh Solais

The Debation for Castlevania thread doesn't really specifically target favorite weapons, so this thread doesn't exactly already exist.

As for me, I'm a Katana/Axe person. I always have my best Katana and Axe ready to go with a push of the X button. There are some situations where I use one, and some where I use the other.

Swords, Axes, and Spears all the way!

Swords for speed(Valmanway)
Axes for power(Death's Sycthe)
Spears for range(Gunger, yeah!)

At the moment Handgun and Bhuj.

Currently whatever has the best HP's and is quick to use.
The mace is high but too slow to use effectively

I got a cool axe now that does 74 HP!! Yeehaaa!

For my favorite type of weapon overall, I'd have to say spears by far are my favorites because of their range, power, and good speed. Though, I don't really like the final spear (Grunger) as much as the one before it even though it is more powerful. The sound that you get when you hit enemies is just not as satisfying.

In terms of favorite fully upgraded weapon, the muramasa is my favorite.

I'll have to try the spears, I have a few different ones, but haven't used them, simply because I'm trying to get all the souls and get thru the game. My map is like 57% but my souls are only 36% (partially due to creating new weapons, and the simple fact that I'm greedy! )

My favorite wepon is the Bhuj. It takes a lot of life away from bad guys.

Right now my favorite weapon is the Great Axe Armour soul attack! Does that count? If not then, I really like the Ice Brand & The Mach Punch.

Man...so many choices...right now i like the three elemntal swords(icebrand, the fire one, and the petryifying one), nunchukus becuase i can kill enemies really fast by inflicting major amounts of multiplyed damage with it(right now i can keep doing 33s till there dead, and this is how i beat boss rush mode, except i used the devil soul along with it), the rpg(rocket launcher) terror bear(teddy bear with iron sand in it) and deaths sythe.
