I think it's the milicarn sword, but I'm not sure (never made it).

My favorite weapons have been throughout the entire games swords/bastard swords. When you finally get the Claimh Solais it is so worth it. I know it doesn't do as much damage as Death's Sythe but I think it swings a little faster plus it does holy damage so it does extra damage to the final boss and most of the final enemies. Then for the normal swords it is so worth getting the Valmanway because when you attack with it you don't really swing so not only can you do rounds of damage insanely fast but it makes it easier to dodge enemies attacks because their is no stall tiem to use your weapon. That and when you finally get the Black Panther and you use it in conjunction with the Valmanway you can literally sprint through enemies by using the Panther soul to dash and the Valmanway doesn't stop you so you can attack and go sprint.

Is the Black Panther after Death then?

Yes, the black panther is only found in the final area. It's a pity, I would have liked it sooner.

yeah, he should've been in the Silenced Ruins, then that area would be totally like the very 1st Castlevania for the NES
