Of the 2 games (AoS & DoS) I like DoS way, better and agree with Lord, it is a much longer game. Hell, I'm already at 86.5% map; But I'm a level 65 already. But my soul list is only 53%, and I want the Claimh Solais already!!! Thats my favorite weapon from Aria, and you are able to get in DoS with the soul synthesis. That is the part I like the most about this game.

I also agree with shadowsfallkid about the arensal in Symphony. That game has 10 times more weapons than all the GBA titles combined, and there are magic combo's too.
Also you can get that game working again, all you got to do is get it professionally resurfaced and your back in business.

Well, you can get your Claimh Solais when you've got a Final Sword and an Alastor soul.

Yeah SOTN is the game of games. And anyone who says it sucks. Either has never played it, or they can't get past Bezelebub or Granfaloon. These are two of the coolest bosses in that game.
And the Alostar is alot like the shadow sword character in SOTN, I must admit DOS is definitely a close second to that game. I sure hope that when Nintendo releases the "Revolution" thatthey have a port for DS games. Like they did ala Gameplayer for the Game Cube for the Gameboy & Gameboy Color & Gameboy Advance games.
Dawn of Sorrow would look really nice on my new 42" Plasma TV!
If you can't get the SOTN to borrow, let me know and you can use one of mine. I just have to find it in my Storage unit. I have a video game library like you wouldn't believe. I go back to the Original NES; roughly 1200 games; Atari 2600 easy 1500 games. If you can't find it chances are I have it!
As for Castlevania I have all the NES versions complete with original boxes. I have all the Gameboy games. They never made a Gameboy Color Castelvania. Just the GBA titles. I even have a relly rare Tiger Handheld version of SOTN!!! Cheezy but cool to have.

Thanks, but you should see my friend's collection. He has almost all the Atari 2600 games ever made, save like 18!!!
Also on another side piece of trivia. The 1st nintendo handheld was not the Gameboy! It was a little thing called Mario Chef!! Made 1 whole year before Gameboy, and it looked like a calculator! The original handhelds were made my Coleco in the 1970's, like football, baseball. All they were dots that blipped! But, it was all we had back then.

Just take a look at those little blipping dots, and then this game, and look how far they've come, lol. But what I don't know is, why didn't they have the graphics we have now back then? Were they incapable of making a good graphics card back then, for some reason?

yeah, computer back then were mainframes, the size of a classroom. They still exist at NASA & the pentagon. But they couldn't make cool stuff cheap enough back then.

Well, I'm glad they can now.... I mean, what would our lives without Castlevania be like.... I don't want to think about it....

Well, it wasn't that bad. LOL Before Castlevania we had Mario Brothers, and for what it was, it was pretty cool, and to this day I look forward for the new Mario Games, Like mario Sunshine for the Game Cube was alot of fun, and to date I still have yet to beat it! LOL

True, Mario games are very good, but rewind your life, and think: What would it be like if no Castlevania games ever existed?...

Yeah, it would've sucked, but then again. Did you know that famicon, before it was officially nintendo, almost was sold to Atari & Coleco in 1983?? It's all true!

Imagine that.... the Atari DS, or the Atari Gamecube.... No, I defenitely prefer Nintendo. Besides, Nintendo is the greatest gaming company ever, so far.

Yeah I agree, but things could be way different, Atari's problem back in 1983, was that they thought they were invincible, and had no idea the future was knocking at there door. They had no major plans. Basically the Atari 5200 was born out of necessity to compete with the newer intellivision II and Colecovision. 8-Bit was a revolution back then, no-one thought it was affordable to market.

I'm just glad I was born in the generation I'm in. When I was little and horrible at video games, I had the easy games of the Super Nintendo to match my level of ability (Super Mario World is still one of the greatest games ever!!!!!), and now that I'm 14 and good at games, I've got difficult ones that can challenge me.

yeah, it's true, they actually have 3-D hologram type games right now, but like atari thought 8-bit was too expensive in the 80's to market, someone will eventually take it to the next level.

What souls do I need to equip the two machine that are between the 2 final guards?? I'm there right now, and I know that is where Mothman is..
