Menace |

Well, I beat Menace last night. I was a level 82, and it was still fairly difficult! I Used a variety of different souls. The ending was kind of lame. Was I supposed to equip Mina's Talisman for a different ending or something? Also, no ball dropped like with previous bosses. And when I went back in to see my map, it still showed only 99.9%!! What's with that? Before I entered the room where Dmitri & Arikado are, my map already said 99.9%, so after beating Menace, it should be a 100% I would think, right? Does anybody else have a 100% for the map?
Also, Menace reminds me alot of Granfaloon in Symphony of the night. His weak spots were also the knee and ankles too. Only difference was he attacked with lightning as opposed to Menace's flying beasts. ------------------- "Dance with the Dead in my dreams, listen to their hallowed screams! Endings:
Bad: Defeat Dario II. Good: Defeat Aguni then go to the ceneter of the castle like the Cult says but dont equip Mina's talismen thn your darkness will run free. Best: Defeat Aguni and equip Mina's Talismen when you go to center of castle then go to the room with the smoking floor and Julius will open it to take you to fight Death, Abbadon, then Manace. ------------------- ![]()

quote Shadow SoulThis isn't exactly what I meant, I meant can there be 2 different endings after you beat Menace specifically? I just expected there to be a little more than a cheap family reunion of sorts, know what I mean?

No, there isn't.
And isn't granfalloon that one big-pink-ugly-ball-o'-corpses? I don't think it has ankles. Though it's been a while since my cousin got rid of it (He might still have it, but I couldn't find it anywhere.) so I might be wrong.

nope, the corpse full of flies is Beelzebub, Lord of the flies.
I need a new PS2 to start playing that game again. It is the best. Incidentily I just saw Dracula X: Rondo of Blood sell for over $300 on ebay this week!! Just look up the title under "completed Auction" It was totally complete. It's the game that comes before SOTN, Its for the PC engine 3.0 of the US Turbo Graphyx system. ------------------- "Dance with the Dead in my dreams, listen to their hallowed screams! That dude is Legion, and very easy to beat. Pretty sure he wasn't in SOTN, But was in Harmony of Dissonance and Aria of Sorrow.
But he's not Granfaloon, thats for sure. ------------------- "Dance with the Dead in my dreams, listen to their hallowed screams! The Dead have taken my soul, temptation's lost all CONTROL!"

Menance took me a few times to beat, I was on about level 71. But the only soul you really need is Malacoda, damn gotta love that tail.

Oh! You meant Galamoth! That battle was pure hell.
(I think Granfalloon is in the same room in the normal castle.) Or am I mixing the two names up? I'm confused...

Galamoth first castle. Granfaloon, second castle.
Playing as Richter in that game is the best. ------------------- "Dance with the Dead in my dreams, listen to their hallowed screams! The Dead have taken my soul, temptation's lost all CONTROL!"

What I used my first time (It's not the best, but it's the best that I had at the time):
Weapon: Longinus spear (I had the capability to get the Gungir but I preferred the Longinus because I like to see one big number instead of two smaller ones) Armor: Olrox's suit (This was before I found the D. Tunic) Accesory: Tear of Blood Bullet: Mandragora (Reccommended to me by someone) Gaurdian: Maxed Buer (to keep the evil teeth of doom away) Gaurdian: Golem level 1 (Yes, I used the same golem level 1 soul for the entire game) I won after using up every potion I had (I had bought all the potions and hi potions and their respective mind ups has I could hold), and every food item that I had collected throughout the game except two. I was level 43. So...post your menace killing tale here I guess.
