It may be a dead forum but that's okay. I'll still post. I quit playing this game for a looong time.. i bought it, and when i played, it was enjoyable.. but i enjoyed starcraft a lot better. recently I picked it up again, and blew the dust off the case.. and i'm having a good time playing through again.. i don't know, maybe playing on a new computer makes it feel better.. but it seems more fun, and i'm not losing like i used to.. I'll probably buy FT now, once i finish the single player campaigns.

iCare you have W3 also? Maybe me, you, and NeoZues can play a game sometime soon.

Hello... I'm new.

I just got WCIII and am on Chapter 7 of the Human Campaign. Still trying to decide if I like Starcraft better. There's something I like about massing a fleet Battlecruisers or Carriers and decimating the enemies in all of 15 minutes. I have yet to play WC online, and from what I've heard it's about small-scale combat, and makes you care more about your troops individually.

I actually have to figure out the port forwarding thing, cause no one can join my games. I opened port 6112 on TCP and UDP under Internet Connection Settings... will that do the trick?

I agree with you Dion.. i'm a die hard sc fan.. i like it better than W3, but warcraft is still fun.

and yes TDA, i do have W3. I just picked it up again.

yeah, starcraft is different from warcraft. i definetly don't think starcraft sux though. it is a very awesome game.

booyakasha. i had a level 9 mountain king. i could have given it 6 verapts of vitality and it would have had a wicked high life.... but it was an awesome game.

yes, it's like warcraft, only harder, because there are no heros or creeps and everything costs more. in my experience, the opponents, (bots or real) will get units 10 times faster than you, and it seems unfair but it's not.

i would stick to warcraft iii.
