What is the best way to use against the night elf. I'm using the orc and having a hard time beating night elf user in battle.net
 ... unless the user is a noob... But if they are experience player its so hard to beat them...------------------- The FALL gives you time to think for your mistake...  Mabuhay ang NoyPi!!!

im also having this problem. i dont consider myself a newb player, but in every online game ive played, as soon as my hero is venturing out into level 5 or 6, a night elf horde of about 20 units (compared to my shitty 10) creams me. i know night elves build fast, but that fast??

It shouldn't be that hard seeing as Orcs usually have units that are simply strong and churlish. Night Elf people usually amass Huntress' and Archers, so all you really need to do is start building fast, don't creep and don't worry about your army. Buy your hero, and that's all you'll need for now. It'll be your only defense besides your burrows. As soon as that's done, get those Shamans out and keep pumping 'em out. Make sure their "bloodlust" spell is on auto-cast. Next, amass either a Tauren or a Troll Headhunter/Grunt attack force and set out to find your enemy with your ally(ies). Night Elf players are either newbs trying out the race or extreme pros, I haven't seen any that just are in-the-middle. If you have a Human ally, make him/her build Priests, Riflemen, and Sorceress' with Polymorph. If you have an Undead ally, make sure he/she goes all out with Crypt Fiends and Necromancers, and if you have a fellow Night Elf ally, make sure he/she builds Huntresses and Druid of the Claw with Bear form with about two or three extra to cast roar for increased damage for your units. One of the main NE strategies is to get a Priestess and a buncha archers, one because they are fast, cheap and easy to build yet pack an amazing punch, and two they are easy to micro-manage. If you want to beat them, you have to be fast and ready, and remember to not hunt them down too zealously. If you 're chasing a party down and they hit their base...the moonwells WILL heal them FULLY and then you're screwed. But if you just let them come and concentrate on taking one out, then another...the whole while building more units, you'll be fine. I recommend Undead against NE, because the ghoul's attack does more damage to the archers from the damage/armor types. There's another tip...read up on what damage does more to what armors. If the NE rushes with Huntresses...follow these steps: 1. Stand up 2. Bend over 3. Kiss butt goodbye

You're nuts, right? Huntresses has to be one of the easiest offenses to counter because of two reasons: 1.) The Huntress rush is done much too often. 2.) Any other ranged unit will decimate huntresses. Here's the counter for Hunts: Orcs: Any melee should do the trick, Grunts in particular with a Tauren Chieftan hero. Human: Riflemen with Priests, since Hunts come early in the game that's pretty much all I have. Night Elf: More Hunts. Twice as much hunts as they have. That's all I've come up with for now. Undead: The entire undead race only has ONE brute melee unit and you need a Black Citadel to get it, that is I'm talking about the Abomination. All you need to do is rush to Tier 3 and mass Abombs. If that doesn't work for ya, Mass Crypt Fiends with Necromancer support and about 4 Obsidian Statues and take down as many as you can with you...Since Undead suck against Night Elf units... ------------------- Under Username "Tribulation" | |

k my best is ne, but im good with all but human. with orc against ne, lets see, id say do not tech but get some grunts and hh in case of rush or an early attack. u cant us bm to harrass as they heal too easily. but ya after you get some hh and grunts and you're lvling get some raiders and check on their base if possible, if they're getting hipps or chims get wyv. thats all and ull decimate
