Which house are you going to choose your first time round? I am having trouble deciding. Here are the different houses:

Town: Land is cramped, but it's convenient.
Sea: Land is extensive, but thin.
River: Fishing is convenient

They all seem ok, but it really depends on where you want to be I guess.

Hmm...that's something I haven't thought about. *thinks* I'm either thinking Town or Sea.

I think I am going to do the town. I hardly ever use my land much, and I really would like to be around people.

can you move? cus i would live in the town for a little and them move to the sea when i had enough money

Yeah, you're closer to people that you might want to talk to, so that might be helpful.

Since I would be closer to people, I would be able to build relationships, and get a spouse much faster. I also don't need to much crop land, like I said. I only do crops every so often, so it isn't a nessesity.

I'm still not sure though, if I don't get much crop land, then I might not think of putting my house there.

Wow i didnt see any info on the information thread about different houses, where did you see it at? I think I would probably choose the town also because in all the harvest moon games I never planted more than 10 crops at once. I usually had a lot of trees but not crops.... Does anyone know if you can get trees?

I also will consider the river. I don't need crops if I can sell, and eat fish. I don't need that much land either, so I am also considering that one.

Me lets just say for now... town.

Does anybody like the sea? It has the most land, but it isn't very good land. The only reaso I don't like it is because I need very little land, and when I use my land I want it to be good.

So depending on what house you get it effects your farming?

Well, you can plant stuff anywhere, but if you want to plant stuff on your land, then it highly effects your farming. It the town you don't get too much land, but it is good land, and by the sea you just get a lot of bad land.

It sounds like everything is balanced out. So if you plant alot of crops but they sell for little... Like net profit is 2k for say 10 crops... but you grow only 4 crops in the town but they're super crops and sell for 2k...

So I'm guessing they all have thier advantages and dissadvantages. I guess I'll have to look into it more before I choose. Wouldn't it be good if you could move house or own them all as you become richer.
