If you use the psp and go online via wi-fi while running the game and go to the online section of the game then no you dont need an account. If you use the pc then if you download it off yourpsp.com, yes you need an account if its from another site then i doubt it. Hope that helps double poster  -------------------

again no you dont need an account...there are people who have already downloaded the files and placed it on free download sites like rapidshare or some other site...besides registering an account to get, what, 600kb of data...i dont think its worth it...
