It's the old woman again what is the best sword to use to kill Issac. I also want to know when the second generation of ID start dropping devils shards do you need to forge them right away or what do you do. I am also having trouble getting under the gate in cordova town, please help me by telling me how to get into that room and which ID to use to get in. thank you !!

Any weapons that aren't too slow should be good enough against Isaac. When a devil shard is dropped, you can take it to Julia at any time you want. You can sell it (though money is useless in the game because anything you can buy, you can also make or find) or you can make a new ID. If the gate in Cordova is the one with the tiny little space were something small could fit through, you have to go to the clock tower first.

To get to the clock tower, you have to defeat Isaac first. I think the path should be straightforward after that. But if not please ask.

re: Castlevania:curseof Darkness

Well if you're having trouble with him you should try and go up a few more levels. And don't forget that your Battle ID's add strength to your character which boosts their defence and attack damage. Also, every time a new generation of ID is born, they should be stronger than the last and give you more attack and defence. But if your Battle ID is strong enough you can nearly have him fight Isaac for you while you run around! So I'd recommend training your battle ID, because when they level up the amount of strength they give you increases too sometimes. Plus they can take on whole bosses by themselves if they're good enough.

re: Castlevania:curseof Darkness

Sure If you check the skills of your IDs, you might see ?????? if you haven't already unlocked that attack. They can be unlocked in different ways. The most common condition is to kill a certain amount of enemies before your ID evolves. This means if you don't learn a skill but your ID evolves, you can't get the skill with that ID anymore. I would recommend searching the internet for an ID guide which should tell you how to unlock the different attacks.
