My name is HORSE LATITUDES. I moderate this forum. You'll find I'm pretty easy going and helpful if you behave youself while you are here. The easiest way to do that is to read, understand and follow the following rules.


1. Stay On Topic.

This forum is for the Xbox version of Enter the Matrix.
All subject matter should, in some way relate to this.
Occasional tangents are ok, if the thread can get back on track.

2. Use the Forum Directory.

We have compiled an extensive list of useful thread links.
They are all contained within the FORUM DIRECTORY. Use this page to make it easier to find info along with the search function.
I also ask that you look at this page before creating any new threads. Duplicate threads are a problem.
If you make a duplicate thread, it will be ignored and closed, you will then have to repost in the correct thread anyway. So to save me and yourselves time, just look in the directory to see if the thread doesn't already exist.

3. No Spamming.
Please don't spam. I can understand that if you really like this game, you might want to post replies to everything you read. This is fine as long as your posts have substance and relevance.

4. Please, No Flaming.
Please, everyone be nice to each other. If you have a problem with someone, use the PM system to sort out your differances, not these threads.
Be tolerant of other posters, understand that some people don't speak very good English or might be very young. Try to make your posts positive and constructive in light of this.

5. No System Wars.

This is an Xbox forum, so we could be considered biased towards this system. However, that does not give us the right to flame any other console or system. In the same way that we wouldn't be happy with anyone coming here to flame the Xbox. EtM, is a multiple system game so comparisons will innevitably be drawn...remember, think carefully about your posts and make them reasoned.

6.Please don't 'Double Post'.

"Double Posting," or posting more than once in a row, is annoying to almost everyone, including me. Yes, I know that there are circumstances where it can't be avoided, but I'd appreciate it if it could be kept to a minimum... Double posts will be merged by yours truely if you choose not to do it yourself.

7. Please watch your language.

I know EtM is rated 15 but Neoseeker isn't. Please remember that the younger members of Neoseeker may also wish to visit this forum and they shouldn't be subjected to extreme language. I leave you to use common sense as to what is acceptible and what isn't.

8. Obey the Official Neoseeker rules.

If you stick to everything in Neoseekers rules, then you'll be absolutely fine here. This forum can be considered a little more relaxed. This attitude will remain so long as nobody takes advantage of my leniancy and abuses the above rules.


That's about it as far as my rules go.

One of the biggest problems I have here are people requesting info for the PC version of Enter the Matrix.
Any threads created for this purpose will be closed.

Post any PC related issues there.

The second biggest problem I have is duplicate threads.
I mentioned it earlier but here's a reminder,
CHECK THE FORUM DIRECTORY before creating new threads.
Now you have no excuses.

Reason for ban...Racial slurs, swearing.

This is the very 1st ban carried out on this forum and I'm quite upset about it.
99.9 percent of people here are good posters, who come here to discuss and ask questions regarding ETM in a sensible manner. Of course, we sometimes go a little of topic and sometimes get a little carried away, but this is acceptable and with some guidance we get back on track. Please don't feel I'm referring to you guys in this.
However, this statement is directed towards members and non-members alike.
Please don't think, jsut because you appear as a guest and are not a member, that you can evade punishment and get away with posting anything you like. You can't.
IPs ARE LOGGEDAs such, it doesn't matter what name you type in, we know who you are and you will be banned.

To all the regular posters, members and guests alike, I'm sorry to sound so harsh and I appreciate your vigilance in flagging these types of posts.
If you see a post or new thread that you feel violates the forums, or NEOSEEKERS rules, use the report button on the lower right hand side of the post screen.
