take the elevator in the monks room back down to the now completly flooded hidden underground, and swim to the save point near that platform that did nothing earlier, and it is now an elevator that goes right to him

Doku was pretty easy, just went through 2 talismens of rebirth and some devils elixirs

One thing, make sure you check the safe again, i figured i had to go to the lift as i went there before first time through. Unfortunately i didnt re-check the safe so missed out on an extra red-special move type thing space.

Yeah yo, you can actually get three things from that safe throughout the whole game. Heh, then the priest claims it's as useful as dog manuer...

thats the one spirit of the devils. To be honest the monk has no right complaining about his safe, writing the combination less than 5 steps away from the safe in an open book is hardly straight out of 'how to make your safe safe' user guide lol.

how many spirit of devils can be found in the game, ive found lots of those LOTG, and jewel of Demon whatever, but still have only 4 ninpo spots, and never found anymore, is that all there is, or am i missing alot of them, im in level 15, so id probally hunt down some of them if there are any left before i go into the core

Well i currently have 5 specials on level 13 so sounds like you've missed one. Not sure f more are possible but get the feeling that 5 is max. Although on the plus side im missing 8 scarabs.

im missing 7 scarabs, guess ill have to find them the next time through

One of the most missed Spirit of the Devils is the 50 fiend challange in Chapter 7 before the fight with Alma. The game guide at Gamespot is excellent in that it shows all of the locations of the Spirit of the Devils, Life of the Thousand Gods, Life of the Gods, Jewel of the Demon Seal, and scarabs.
