Do you think Pictchat will go farther in distance, in the near future?

I thought picto-chat would be a great application..... until i found out that nobody else had a DS!!.... The wireless multiplayer range should be increased to about 1KM and a popup should appear when a player is in range!

I dont know hoopla about 4 yards being the weakest connection I am sure there gonna devolop a transmitter

this is a bit late but i just have to say...

the maximum range is huge at about 200 feet (EXTREMELY SLOW CONNECTION) but thats if your in the middle of a barren desert or such.. say your on the street, it should got about 80 feet if nothing is blocking the connection (large objects)

I might get a ds for my birthday! Its in 26 days!
So no one has a ds thats even 200 feet away!
So wat should i do with pictochat??

How far does wi fi span? I heard in a book it said span the world! So would i be able to play with someone i dont even know thats like in UK??? I live in US.

i think that pictochat will definately go farther in the near future because of nitnendo wifi. and to who ever said it, pictochat is not useless, it is especially fun to talk to people in different rooms, say at school and it is not currently possible to increase the range without increasing the price the the customer

Hey i'm always on pictochat and by the way nintendo are considering making a range finder adapter - you would put it in the slot where your charger would usually go, and it would greatly increase the range of pictochat and nintedogs bark mode and such!

But, nintendo are ONLY CONSIDERING THIS, so it may not happen.
