twin blades |

Once again, there's about a 95% chance that no one will ever respond to this, but can anyone tell me what the twin blades' legecy drive is? The symbol on the status screne just looks like a glob of chewed bubblegum, and I've never been able to activate it. So why am I worrying about it?...Curiosity.

If you can't get the legacy drive, either you're having difficulty following the pattern or you're a very big idiot. The legacy drive is an explosion that hits all around you.

I just have trouble doing the legacy drives. I'd blame my joystick, but it's my fault. Not that it makes me an idiot. Christ. I just never got used to them, since the only one I used without being forced by some puzzle was the crossbow--which was very easy. The others take me a million tries. Particularily the one for the tonfas. I hate that one.
Anyway, thanks for answering my question. I think. -------------------

Bet you this Dan fellow is a fat, 54-year old virgin. He is the future me, but for now, I am skinny, and we must lash out to defend your honour!

Remember the President of the Planet of the Apes fan club? I bet you Kaufman's the same guy. I wonder if he cries himself to sleep every night...

It isn't just you Laura!
The legacy drives are a pain in the ass.I have trouble with my right analog stick as well- so I think it is the game, not our controllers. It does get easier with practice though... Right after I get the 2 ley seeds I always use the legacy drive for my new weapon, though some of them are rather difficult to use! The crossbow one is easier than the others, and the snake sword is somewhat easier for me, though I have rarely used it... The one for the katar (won from the fight with Hans) (twin blades?) is especially cumbersome, and almost impossible to aim! I only used it for putting out the fire so I could get the key in the China town level. It creates a jetstream of ice.

The katars are not the twin blades. The twin blades are a legecy weapon you recieve after beating the game. They look an awful lot like the the katars, only larger and red. They're meant to be the game's most powerful weapon, but I still prefer the tonfas!
As far as legecies, the crossbows is definitely the easiest, and the only one I used without being forced to when solving a puzzle. You can cast a max of two before your gauge is empty, which becomes a must in later boss fights. When trying to most of the drives, my joystick would just drift off to the right. Oh OK! I am at the part after getting the giant hammer... And agents stole my crystals, and I have to get them back. If you get the twin blades after beating the game= then where do you get the ley seeds to activate the legacy drive?

So far one of my favorite legacy drives is the one for the broadsword- I love watching the enemies attack the gold image of me, and totally ignore me.
I cannot activate the legacy drive for the weapon Bi Xia I got from Raven to save my life!

I know! That's the hardest one--with the exception of the twin blades! Eventually, you're forced to do it to solve a puzzle. Ug. It took me hours and hours...

Yeah. At one point, I decided it was the best course of action to just turn my PS2 off and take a much-needed break. It was just so frustrating failing at the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over...

The legacy drive puzzle took very little time for me because there actuly easy to use for me
Im thinking its because I have good dextarity in my hands and I also Have skinny but long fingers. Once you master the legacy drive combos you can beat the game very easly. I always activate the crossbow for bosses and then when im almost dead I use the tonfas legacy. And i finished the game in 2 days im playing it over though with the swords and once i beat it again i will probly play again I can't explain why but I love this game. My first time through I used the sword with a combo of switching to the axe to deliver the final blow. But the Twin swords are just plain awesome. They are the perfect mix of the sword and pole style with the power of the axe and the speed of the hand to hand combat finished off by the reach of the pole.
