LG Xenon Ringtone Creation/Transfer |
|
Hi there everyone!
I just got my new LG Xenon a week ago, and I'm trying to figure out how to get ringtones onto it. I have the data cable, and I have the microSD card in place, in fact I can even get pictures which are later used for wallpapers onto the phone. The only problem I'm having is that while I can get songs onto the phone, no matter what I do, they won't come up under the Ringtone menu. Right now I'm using Magix Ringtone Maker and even that seems a little confusing, if anyone has a roadmap around that program it would be great.

Try using Myxer
Works good for me and it's really simple, it actually doesn't cost anything, if it did, it would be on your own plan somehow, but everyone I showed it too, did not price them.. Hope I helped , somehow! =) (Message to whoever, I am not one of those scamming advertisers ------------------- ![]()

Problem with that is I don't have internet enabled on my phone, and it costs 3 cents per kb I use.
I use Rogers Wireless btw. I've tried everything, ringtone under 300kb to miniSDHC, computer to phone via USB, I really, REALLY don't wanna pay the $3.75+$0.75 download fee to get a ringtone(yes I know, we get gouged in Canada). Would a unlock get around a branding lock?

I have same problem with Rogers LG Xenon, even after unlock the phone, the option setting any mp3 as a ringtone is not there.
Anyone has solved this problem?

i've figured i way to do this. On my mac i used garageband to edit desired mp3's to the desired length of 300kb or lower. The xenon will not recognize a mp3 as a ringtone unless it is less then 300kb. As well any online editing tool will work as well. I have, as many laptops do, bluetooth capabilities. After parring my phone with my computer i was able to stream the edited ringtone straight to my phone is seconds. Once uploaded it asks if you'd like to use it as a ringtone. naturally you'd say yes and it will save. Hope that might help
