re: offline mode without internet |
|
Is there any way to emulate the GameGuard server? I've heard many ways for maple story, GunZ, gunbound, etc. but no-one else says how to do so with PSU:Illuminus. Can anyone tell me the server directory/file arrangement? I do not have a connection at home, so I cannot play online, but even for offline/story mode, it asks me to connect every time I start the game. If there is no way to emulate the server, is there any other way?
Edit: There is a way! It does need an initial connection to the internet. 1) First of all you need a Web Server (a server from your computer). I highly suggest Abyss Web Server X1. Its free and it works (even when its not running...) 2) In the "C:\Program Files\Abyss Web Server\htdocs" directory, you need to create the following folders, in this order: GameGuard SEGA SEGAPSU 3) Now, the following files need to be downloaded, and placed in this folder: gamemon.npz ggscan.npz npgg9x.npz npggNT.npz npgmup.npz nppt9x.npz npptNT2.npz npsc.npz NPSCAN.npz SEGAPSU.npz splash.npz update.cfg (These can be downloaded by going to this address: *ttp://update.nprotect.net/GameGuard/SEGA/SEGAPSU/(filename)) Next, the loopback adapter needs to be installed, and the server configured. quoteStart PSU and enjoy offline without the internet connection. P.S.: I hope this was useful. This message was edited by Reki_III on Feb 24 2008. This message was edited by Reki_III on Feb 24 2008. | |
