Hmm... I remember getting it first time clearing the game...
I controlled Venus...
(i got it with frost to)
If Scorpio flees after you defeat him in the first stage, thats the sign of the next stage...
When you've completed the first stage a message will say something like
"Red mineotaur has fled deeper into his land"
Or something like that (bin awile)...

i just defeated Red Minotaur after protecting the door>_< and i got the land. (played as devil king)

is it even possible to unlock those characters, if you could it wouldnt be that cool apart from using Zaan he has a big ass sword and he is pretty strong

It is possible to play as those characters with a cheat device (Action Replay MAX, Codebreaker, or GameShark). Here are the codes to play as them. All of these codes are in RAW format and will work for any version Codebreaker and GameShark v3 & v4. They should, also, work for the old GameShark2 as well.

I don't think the Lark and Bramble codes work as when you get to the actual mission, the game freezes. However, I've been able to play as both Reaper and Zaan. But, not for a whole level. The game freezes at certain times in the level. So, Reaper and Zaan are playable....until the game freezes up.

They, also, have boost attacks and a Fury Drive move as well. :-)

i realized that bramble and lark have an jap op and ed, that´s unfair..

Yeah,it freezes as soon as a playable character is shown.Wether it's in the opening cutscene or when you meet on it'll freeze.This means the only stage you can play succesfully would be the defense stage.After woulds,some bug prevents you from leveling up so you can't get any new moves.As for the weapons,the only thing you can get is an upgreaded version of the first weapon,which means no second through sixth weapons.

From the looks of it, you seem to be missing Lark and Bramble's stage and R. Minotaur's second stage.
