I was just curious, what some of you people have as your main 8 character fighting team. If you've beaten it more than once, what do you feel is your best team. Feel free to describe what they wear/class/level etc. For me, I'll get back to you on my team later.

(As you can tell i used the duplication cheat quite a bit and i had to spend a lot of time using sword emblems, stones of swiftness, etc to max out my stats and my sword stats)

Thats my team, little heavy on archers because well, I have more than 1. I like them though, they pick off the spell casters early on in a fight and Denebs 2 summons, I use here Fluid magic and temptation more than them. Only when Alphonse can't target an Atropos on someone do I Fluid magic her, then she gets some use out of the summons ^^

I find that giving someone Teleport and sending in my Swordsmaster with Atropos to take out anyone with Fluid Magic help enormously. Here's how to do it in the first turn:
1. Use Energy Transfer w/Euphaire on Teleporter
2. Use Teleport with the person who just got some magic to send your warrior in, and
3. Usually the enemy uses a witch or warlock to dispense magic and it usually takes only one hit to take them out:D

Why did you give your Priest a long sword? A wand is a much better choice.

and rictor is so much better than priests and summoners and he has a reasonable attack

this gives me an idea for a new thread.
oh!to avoid spamming... It is stupid how you must have Alphonse in every battle, even the radom ones, i mean, really, in FFT Ramza only had to go to the event battles, he didn't have to go tothe random ones.sheesh!

yea the oberon is a snapdragon holy sword i created...any of the names you don't notice are most liekly snap dragons...sorry bout not being clear on that

wait shaher, why is deneb got so much on cybil? because personally i think cybil beats her in strength and has a ton more hp, mp, and intelligence then her, and can use every single spell she can and more except temptation. so personally i'd rather go with cybil, while deneb is useful to have fluid magic, that can be replaced easily. not to say i don't use deneb, but she is definitely not better than cybil. also, i disagree with your point saying that rictor is much stronger than elrik. especially considering that elrik beats him in every single stat, and has his own spell (summon golem). Rictor is extremely good, but elrik can equip many more spells than he can, and overall is a generally better character. Also, if you go rictor's path you can't get teleport, which is probably the most useful (and cheap) spell in the game

well here's how i look at it. Elrik has NO movement ability, rictor's is alright.I dont know where you think Elrik is a better fighter?His bonus weapon is a wand.Rictor migth possibly, though im not sure (i just let my friend borrow my game) carry more spells, however Rictor can equip healing spells which are much more important at the end of the game.
