Well i made i best item/spell thread so what do u think is the worst item spell.

the worst item is probably a healing leaf i hardly ever use it. the worst spell is probably any global spells

worst item probaly dousing rod and magic leaf. worst spell is probaly summon tempest, its useless.

actually i use magic leaves all the time...25 mp is what you need for a lot of spells. dowsing rods can be good to find items, and summon tempest isn't [/i]too[i]terribly bad, but it is pretty awful. its only benefit is a wind valkyrie in a storm is pretty strong. worst item is probably the scipalay staff, why would you ever use that? worst spell...that's tough. maybe cursed existence, but i guess if you like the undead that's a fine choice. so i don't really know for either, it's a very good discussion

well the staff is good in the beginning of the game but later it isnt that good

yea i know that...but still...how about the bandanna? res strike 1? how can that ever be beneficial? might as well throw on another short sword

short swords, short bow, and leather hat are usually the worst items after you beat firmido, after you beat formido you what to have bandanna,long sword , great bow. as it goes longer you probably want to get better items so some items are left in the dust...

yea, by the end of the game, your characters really shouldn't have any equipment you can buy in a store because chances are there is a better item than it

what about savage bugle y would u ever use that???

calling storms can be helpful like i mentioned earlier. a wind valkyrie fares better in a storm than most characters, however, the real point is is that you're right: you would never waste an actual move using a savage bugle.

swallows daze may not be so good, the reason is i think you get it on level 20 and my that time... why would you have a katana equiped??? it looks cool, though.

yea i totally agree dbz...swallow's daze would be decent if there was a decent katana (i can't believe there are no good katanas! that really pissed me off) but yea it's not worth using because other weapons are just so much more powerful there's no point...with the most powerful weapon at 52 POW
