i hear that you get new characters by completing the tales of the sword w/o dieing... i can get all the way to the last 2 guys then i get *bleep*ed up and die like 10 times

how do i make it easier to beat these guys?

yes i am... i get to the *prepare to defend yourself* and i die almost instantly... i cant beat my double it pisses me off so much cause i thaught i was good with nightmare then the double kills me in like 10 seconds any suggestions?

I hate to break it to you, but I've never beaten my double either. It's really hard!! >.<

But the challenges that are most important are the ones with Amy, Hwang, Li Long, Miser, and Greed: those are characters you unlock if you can beat them in the PTDY challenges.

What I usually do is keep grabbing them over and over again...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but don't give up.

Usually, I use whatever character I'm the best with. I'm good with Kilik myself, so that's who I normaly use.

I guess use whoever works the best for you.

all characters gets options to unlock those bonus characters, me thinks. oh and you only have to keep winning until you face them. after that, you can be defeated and still unlock them.

*ps don't stop when you feel like you're being watched, unless you're really good which i doubt you are. =p just move ahead and continue.

Dude jus' don't worry, you can unlock all characters just by playing the game [vs etc.].
You don't have to play tales of souls to unlock anyone if you don't want to [exept night terror you need "action replay" or "gameshark" or somethin'].
Look in the FAQs or Walkthroughs if you need help in any specific area.

There are not too many characters that are like...Wow! Except for the "bonus" characters which are simply "interesting" custom characters. I personally really like using Amy :3 haha, but anyways Its pretty simple once you get the hang of it.

I'll tell you which battles are hard.Defeating Abyss, sometimes,Collosus is very difficult on Normal and Hard,Night Terror is probably the most hardest one to defeat yet both on Normal and Hard...So yeah there you go.
