Okay, I haven't been on in a day, and I log into RuneScape. I notice I'm standing in Lumbridge Square with only my defender, a super set, and a few low level seeds in my inventory. I thought that was a bit odd, since I had thought I still had all my combat gear on at the Duel Tounament area. I quickly run down to Lumbridge basement with the assumption that I just forgot what had happened since I was up late last night. I open my bank, and I can't find any of the armor or anything I had been using.

So basically, now I'm down 300 prayer pots (noted), my brand new dharock (I bought it last night), obby cape, whip, dds, and 20 or so sharks. Damn.

I'm not sure what happened - I have a pretty secure account, and I just checked my computer for viruses.

Now that I think about it, I was playing RuneScape at the library a few days ago, so that might have been it... Honestly, two *bleep*ing weeks later and the hacker wouldn't have been able to trade the stuff to their account - two *bleep*ing weeks! God, I hate this game.

Yeah, if at all costs I never really like to play at the library. Never know who could get on afterwards or what could be on the computer after your done. In your case a hacker had gotten onto the computer you were on, or some keylog was in the computer.

Hope you can recover, man.

I suppose I still can.. Doesn't exactly help that I had just sold my dragon weapons, torags, etc plus most of my spare potions to get the dharock's in the first place. ⌐_⌐

This sucks. I'm sorry Red, however I see you're making a nice come back. Just don't let the hackers win tbh. I'm sorry to hear that though.

Yeah I remember when I got hacked... I got hacked once, recovered in the day... the next night got hacked AGAIN!!! then i scanned my computer. Anywayz good luck recovering, it can be quite annoying. My advice: NEVER PLAY ON PUBLIC COMPUTERS!!!11111shiftone

Haha Stitch, I like how you put that. The only way they can steal "All of your skills" is if they lock up your account, or get it banned. If you are smart like TBF said, you can recover your account from a hacker, with minimal damage.

Sorry to hear that Red, getting hacked and losing your items really does suck . Did you have a bank pin?
