While other chat methods may have more functionality, sometimes it's just easier to talk in-game rather than switching windows, especially when fighting boss monsters. That is the purpose of Clan Chat; an in-game chat medium for the community.

Neo_Chat is the account name which holds the NeoRS Clan Chat. Simple, easy enough to remember.

Joining the Clan Chat is simple! Click on the 2 smiley faces at the bottom of your sidebar interface and press 'Join Chat'. Enter Neo_Chat in the box that appears, and you'll be placed into the channel.

To send messages to the channel, simply add a forward slash (/) before your message. Any messages sent through the channel will have [Neo] beside the user who sent it.

To help keep order in the channel, there are a number of Generals (and Captains) available to keep out troublemakers. You can identify a general in-game by the golden star next to their name (or silver for Captains). Below is a list of the current Generals:

This clan chat is a part of Runescape, and as such all RuneScape rules apply. There are several player moderators who will be in this channel, and they will report you to Jagex if you're found to be clearly breaking any Runescape rules.

On top of that, as this is an extension of the forum, you are expected to abide by all Neoseeker rules. While troublemakers will at first be removed from the channel, persistent offenders will find themselves on the ignore list of the Neo_Chat account, thereby being unable to join. Serious offenders may even find themselves with a Neoseeker ban for disrupting the channel.

Read this carefully and make sure you understand the bottom section (Rules) before entering the chat.

In my opinion a statement made should not be punished severely in a PRIVATE CHAT CHANNEL! I mean, sure serious things like filter bypassing crap, report. Things that are jokes and have no intention of an insult, warning perhaps? But of course, your wannabes in the chat report every sign of trouble to Jagex.

I Agree, im Very Rarely in the CC now due to mass reporting, friendly jokes bieng taken the other way, and just pure Arrogant people.
