General Runescape Discussion XII |
|
General Runescape Discussion A general discussion about anything RuneScape. Discussion in this thread will be RuneScape related only. For anything else, there is IRC or the Off-Topic thread. We understand that RuneScape is a community oriented game, so posts about temporary leave will be acceptable. Any off-topic posts will be deleted on sight. The thread will serve for a place for people to discuss whatever is on their mind about RuneScape, if they do not want to go to the trouble of creating a thread about it. It will not however be a dumping ground for questions already asked, so if someone creates a thread, answer it there, do not yell at them to go to the GD - reposting doesn't help them at all.

quote kotsiatisI am certainly not an expert, but I did range pots until 79 or so and because I had so many nests and toadflax, I used Ale to pot up to 81 for Sara brews.

You might want to do magic potions as long as they have readily-available supplies being sold in the GE, since they would give you the most exp.

quote King AsianProblem is the potatoe cactus is very expensive, so unless you are going to collect them yourself, it will cost a hell of alot of money.

Everything is going to be "costy", unfortunately. I'm not sure about this, but I don't think there is a profitable way to train herblore without collecting some/all of the supplies yourself.

Not sure what the demand is for magic pots anymore, I do know range pots still sell, so you would not lose too much, if you understand my meaning.
You will lose on it, unless you collect, grow all supplies yourself, but you can minimize the loss.

i didnt mean that. i know i am going to lose a lot of cash. I meant that i lose more cash by doing range pots rather than super energy restores. So lets say money is not a problem. Is range pots the best way possible?

I need about 700 crimson for 68 summon. Is it worth killing waterfiends for the charms or continuing with slayer?

quote kotsiatisIf money is no object, make the highest pots you can for your level. That would be the obvious choice.

quote Angyles Cerddoriaeth Like I said :]. quote Lucas0 In my opinion, it would be better to obtain the charms while doing slayer so you can raise slayer while collecting charms. But, if you can kill waterfiends pretty fast and you're looking for fast lvls, go for it. ------------------- quote Onilink

Yeah, i break even with them and can kill them reasonably fast. I will stay at waterfiends as i am collecting at a better rate (xp wise) then doing slayer
