If Bowler actually became a mod I think the world would blow up

I'm just curious if the Mods are gonna consider being maybe a bit more active?

The Moderation Queue is left unchecked for about 3 day periods and the Clan Chat is a mess.

This, I know this sound stupid, but I think it's necessary to promote another mod...It's been like this for a while and overnight something stupid turns into a spam fest

As RuneScape is ranked like third in community size of all forums with exception to Lounges, active mods are a necessity.

Like one needs to be on each day at least.

Update ban list please.

How many times do I have to say that I DONT WANT TO BE A MOD. Considering the state of the community, that is the LAST thing I would ever want to do. I do enough babysitting over the summer, I really don't want to do so for people that are my age and older.

You can dispense with the bowler4mod nonsense at any time kthxbye.

The problem is, the two mods we do have are just not active enough that nonsense like this is occurring way too much. I mean honestly, people are reporting everything, and sometimes for no good reason at all! I think its been about 2 days since the mod queue was last emptied, and its pretty damn full atm.

I raised the point of inactivity to the super moderators once before. Until it’s blatantly obvious and the forum is in complete disrepair, the super moderators will simply disregard it. But I think that was more because I was trying to get a moderator replaced rather than adding a new one. I've been back lurking for forum again over the last 2 weeks, having finally got a grasp over my own work and from what I've seen I reckon Onilink and ACY are doing a good job considering they are tremendously busy with other things too. It is crossing a line now where it is getting a bit hectic because the lack of moderator intervention. You know it, I know it, ACY and Oni know it we have been in need for another moderator for sometime, but now its become much more urgent, and can't be thought over much long.

I would also like to ask you all to pack it in with this nonsense with Bowler, give him a break. You’re criticizing someone for being a good, helpful member all the time? You’re acting like a bunch of children. Preaching about whose wrong for the forum, I don't know who is right for us, but it’s blatantly obvious who isn't, after flicking through this thread. The moderators will be back, and to greet them, the people they will likely have consider being the 3rd moderator, reeking havoc in the RFS thread. You want them to be more active, but who wants to volunteer there spare time to sort this out. They are obviously busy doing something outside the forum, so the last thing they want to be met with when they are finished is a massive heap of supposedly intelligent member acting like children. Some of you need to grow up, and seriously need a change of attitude.

And before you flame me in this thread for memberating, remember, it doesn’t take a person with a moderator tag to see your acting foolishly.

Onilink had an operation the other day, hence why he has been inactive. Perhaps you lot should learn to take care of your own actions rather than be so quick to cry out for supervision. It's seriously pathetic now.
