The minimap is redundant when you just look at the map above. XP rates and money rates are pratcially the same thing, but I will not post them because of level changes and the fact I am not level 99 and cannot test them accurately, because I will level eventually.

At 99 I can get 360-400 per hour when concentrating. That's 95,400 - 106,00 experience per hour.

What is Granite Mining?
Granite Mining is the number one way of gaining Mining Experience. It consists of mining the ores and dropping them. You can mine Granite in the quarry, South of the Bandit Camp. To get there you will need a Shantay Pass, Waterskins and desert robes.




Method #1 - Waterskins

This is the least efficient experience/hour for mining Granite, but however, if you are a level 3 Skiller, or have not yet done Dealing With Scabaras or Dream Mentor, this is the only method open to you. Your inventory should only contain 5-10 waterskins. You will have to bank frequently, to replenish waterskins, so keep some sort of teleport on you at all times.


Method #2 - Humidify

This is the second fastest experience for Granite Mining. To do this method you will need 68 Magic and completed the quest Dream Mentor. For this method you will need 1 Astral rune, 1 Fire rune, and 3 Water runes for each cast of Humidify. Carry around 4 Waterskins and cast Humidify every time they are all empty.





Method #3 - Water Tiara

The Enchanted Water Tiara is the fastest experience for Quarry Mining, since you will not have to fill waterskins, nor have waterskins. Simply wear the tiara at all times and mine away.

Q. Where is the best place to mine granite?

A. There are 3 rocks in the Southwestern part of the Quarry that are in one line. You can mine these 3 and the first will be restored by the time you mine the last.


Q. Lava Titans?

A. Lava Titans are a summoned familiar that require a Summoning level of 83. They provide an invisible 10+ Mining boost, so they are extremely helpful while mining granite. If you can afford/make the pouches, then by all means, use one.

Q. What is Varrock Armour and should I use it?

A. Varrock Armour is a reward given to the player for completing the Varrock Diary. When worn, you may sometimes mine two ores instead of one, yielding the experience of both.

I've tested it using Varrock Armour 2, so if someone could also test this, please do. Thanks.

I have edited Varrock Armour and Lava Titans into the bottom Questions. If someone could go and test Varrock armour with granite? I have and it yielded no double ores. So yeah. In your face Ashton.

I see you failed to mention any other form of transportation to the granite quarry.

You could add Camulet and a tele to the ancient magicks pyramid.
