finding the "source", a wierd wheeled ground vehicle. you have to shoot its energy blocks on its "arms" i think. Any easy or proper way to do this. Tired of playing this level over and over. Help me out. Please. level is called the source

yeah, you have to shoot the energy blocks on it's arms, best strategy is to get far away, to the outskirts, then get into a pattern of hovering up and down to avoid the napalm blasts, and fire at the energy blocks, after a few hits, the shields go up, and you can't damage it anymore until it's shields go down, so get rockets in if you can

No no no. The easiest way to defeat it without any effort is to fly under the mechanical creature underneath where the energy blocks are. There is so much space to fly about under the creature you can easily take out all the energy blocks. The easiest weapon to use being the Rail Gun.

ive just got this game........and this is the first level where I was like "hmmmmm serious problem? what do I do??!??!??" lol

good old fashioned boss round action........so i did a good old fashioned "search the net" for a solution

There's a small column of junk - it'll help you much. Try pretending to change your aim and get distracted, the shields always go down.
You'll have to start the level over if you don't make it once... with the ammo you'll have there's almost no chance.
