re: drifting

You can't.... well not really.... this games more about the actualy racing side, and quick nips here and there, diving and ducking...

The best way to "drift" round a corner on this game is to use the umm......... erm! i forget its name, but the button that slows everything down, u can then turn and slide quite evily and looks awsome... especialy if you slide sideways under a lorry....

re: drifting

It takes a lot of practice to drift.

Go into the corner as fast as possible. For a right hand corner..

Stay near the middle to right hand side of the road.
Quickly nudge the wheel to the left and then far over to the right.

At the same time click the hand brake.

Once she breaks traction keep the power on and opposite lock as required to keep the car going around the corner. (not too much)

The best way to get out of a drift is to keep the power on and quickly turn the steering wheel straight. Once your car straightens up you can release the throttle.

Practice. Practice Practice
Let me know how you go
