	ABOUT: What's Shoddy Battle?: Shoddy battle is an online pokemon simulator made for the purpose of testing teams, advancing the metagame, and other pokemon related fun stuff. Where can I download it?: Shoddy Battle can be downloaded here. If you'd like to host your own server, the server pack, and instructions on how to host it, can be found here. (Hosting a neoseeker server would be appreciated thanks) What is the CAP project?: The Create a Pokemon project (or CAP, for short) is a project run by members of smogon in attempts to balance out the metagame. The CAP project goes under months of research and discussion about creating a single pokemon, first they find what typing would be most needed, then the style of the pokemon, movesets etc. then artwork comes last. Currently, they've created 3 pokemon, Syclant (Bug/Ice), Revenankh (Fighting/Ghost), and Pyroak (grass/fire) the sprites for these pokemon must be downloaded, and can only be used on Doug's CAP server. If you'd like to participate in the CAP project, follow the link in the CAP servers welcome message. Alright, I downloaded it, now how do I make a team?: That's simple, click on file up in the left hand corner, and select "new team", for advice on making a good team that works, try the diamond forums "tutor" thread. Alright, my team is done, now how do I find a battle?: Simply join one of the servers (primarily official or Doug's) and click on the "find" tab, load your team, and then click on find match, and wait for a battle, or you could always just challenge random people, but results can vary. ~UU~

Very much so I can't say much considering I'm learning myself, but I'd figure it would help a lot. As with anything, experience comes from practice, and Shoddy is a lot easier than making a thread in Battles, waiting for someone to reply, asking for their friend code, waiting for the connection, battling, then starting all over again. This way you just open a program and tons of people already there.
