I was thinking, what if something used mean look to prevent switch outs, then used taunt on something that doesn't have any attack moves?

I thought maybe I could use this on a wobbuffet, then I thought, nah, counter and light screen probably count as attacks.

and I think that if you've been taunted, the game won't let you use non-attack moves and just warns you when you click one.

so, I know it's highly unlikely, but could this happen? if you couldn't complete your turn, what happens?

I know that things like metapod and cascoon etc. sometimes only have harden, so I know this scenario is not impossible, just highly improbable.

What I'm trying to say is, if you used Scary Face, then Taunt, the guy will just use Struggle.

If your Pokemon were to have full support moves and was taunted, it can only use Struggle. If a Choice user runs out of PP of the move it's using, it uses Struggle, too. If you get hit by Torment and your only move is the one that got hit by it, it should force a Struggle.

That being said, I believe both Counter and Mirror Coat count as attacks, so even when Taunted Wobb would still be able to use both of those.

Struggle is messed up. It hits everything neutral. ??? type tbh.

Does anyone know how much power struggle has?

I think it's base 50 or something, though I'm thoroughly confused as to how it's damage is calculated if it's not physical or special. =S

Losing 1/4 of your max hp ftl. Too bad it was necessary to prevent those never-ending struggle wars between walls.

I always thought that struggle was physical (it deals damage based on atk anyway), since a Garchomp's struggle does far more than a Wob's. Not sure how the defense thing works though.

Struggle isn't based off either. orez and I tested this in randoms, I ended up with Wobb, I Encored him, he got locked into a move with no PP, I used Counter (his move was physical), and it didn't do anything. Mirror Coat didn't, either.
