Different Platforms |
|
In the last few months I've taken to playing this game on various other platforms rather then just the PS2 to discoverer what the difference is. And from what I've found, the PS2 one is the worst. On the X-Box, you have downloadable content such as extra Heroes and levels, as well as four player split-screen, and the ability for the AI to play as heroes. On the PC version you can download many custom maps, characters, and changes to the game which can create endless enjoyment from endless possibilities, as well as create your own maps and levels.
Overall, the PC version is the best I believe, but the X-Box still beats the PS2 in its multiplayer ability. Anybody else played this game on other platforms, or have any good/bad experiences from them? Or just something different to their standard gameplay? ------------------- ![]() BF2 Rise of the Empire Walkthrough||Revenge of the Sith Book Review General Star Wars Forum

I've played this on the PSP. It was horrible man. You feel so limited and they cut out like 10 maps. Space battles weren't exciting either. Pretty much a cut down version of this platform.

I've played the first battlefront on my PC. It wouldn't join online games, and the game was full of glitches. (Fully patched with high-end computer, incase you think that's why).

I own the Xbox version and I love it. Split screen with friends is brilliant, I thought they'd of had that on the PS2 version, at least.

They do have split-screen on the PS2, but only 2 player split-screen, where as I believe it is 4 player on the X-Box. Limits you a bit to what you can do tactic-wise with only two players.

I heard that there were quite a few extras available for the PSP version of the game, is that not as true as I thought it was?
'cause lately it seems all the good stuff hits the PSP as an "extra".

i hate the PSP version its i mean its all right if u really want Battlefront to be portable but ill have to agree with wookie PC version is the best with the cool downloadable maps and I personally like to find glitches and use them against ppl for funny pranks and PC has the most glitches.
