How much does Xbox Live cost to start up, and how much per a month?

I don't like xboxes-PS2 is the way

The cost of Xbox Live isn't near as bad as most people think, and the benefits (downloadable content and game patches / bug fixes) far outweigh the drawback of cost. Speaking of cost: At most, a full year's subscription to XBL will cost you $50... that's the price of just one new game. So if you can afford to buy a single game once a year, you can afford Xbox Live....

PS- this game is much better on Xbox than it is on PS2! PS2's online goes through Gamespy (which sucks fumes compared to XBL), framerate on the PS2 version is lower (I know this from owning and playing BOTH versions of the game), and PS2 doesn't get any new content at all. On Lucas Arts' official site, the PS2 community has been complaining since the game's release that they got the shaft... and they're right, 100%.

If you have to choose between the two, it's not even a choice... the Xbox version is superior.

whats the new multiplayer levels in battlefront that i keep hearing about from my friends like everyday?

The only thing I know of that you could be talking about is the recent update that had several new maps in it, such as Rhen Var Citadel, and two new heroes (please let these be spelled right):
