perhaps if they had a mode where you can actually fly in space to other planets. like, take of from a giant starship and go to hyperdrive and fly to mygeeto or tatooine or something. kind of like an adventure/ free fly mode. email me. we will play bf2 and discuss.

Ehh.. this game better be good. I wan't all the weapons to be perfected, no wimpy ships, and actually battles with people by the thousand, not hundred (But there has to be actual command ships you could use like in Geonosis). The battles have to be more like the movie ones, and enough of the weird troopers, each trooper has to have special abilities... artillery, etc.

BF3 should follow battlefield's model more to make it feel more like a war you're in, alongside your squadrons or whatever you call them. For example, when someone targets an enemy or vehicle, that unit should be revealed to your teammates as well as yourself. Armies need to be broken up into several squads. This would make it more team focused and more tactical as war is. Communication would be limited to your squad but you should be able to communicate with other squads by pressing a button. A cover system should perhaps be integrated, but not to the extent of many other shooter games. You should be able to go on the ground as you could in battlefront 1, which is a useful tactic for a sniper wanting to remain hidden or any soldier for that matter. Color on armor (as with clone troopers, stormtroopers, etc.) should depend on your rank not your class. When you kill someone, you should be able to pick up their weapons, separately as in halo. This acts as a reward for killing someone, but of course you couldn't pick up a lightsaber (those would probably disappear or appear too damaged to use, but perhaps a jedi could pick up an additional lightsaber). The sniper rifle's reticule from the first battlefront should return. Droid starfighters in space combat cannot be piloted by battledroids because they are droids themselves; therefore in space combat you could choose to be a droid starfighter or tri-fighter. General Grievous's starfighter should appear as a hero ship instead of the bomber. The V-wing should appear as a fighter not a bomber. And one of the things that bothers me the most is that the ARC is a single person ship rather than a three person ship. The ARC should be the Republic's bomber and have a pilot, a co pilot, and a gunner as in the movies. Why is the Rebel transport ship a renamed LAAT Gunship? Shouldn't it be a smuggler's freighter instead? Shouldn't the imperial transport be lambda class shuttle instead of the theta class? Why can't they make a battle of the naboo plains reenactment with the stupid gungan troops versus the droids and their MTTs?

no jedis. its a first person shooter not an action game for he who shall not be name's sake. heroes with ranged weapons are fine, but the super fast cheap jedi ruin the realism of the battlefield. the game is supposed to be about playing as a soldier, which means ranged weapons but with a melee attack with firearms at close range. Heroes like han solo and boba fett fit into the game because they have ranged weapons. just dont use that lightsaber life meter, just give the heroes more health or something else. the dune sea map would be great also if the gameplay

Hey "What the f", what the eff are you talking about biach. The Jedi are an awesome thing in Battlefront II. It's just the BS lightsabre meters that run out that is effed up. So don't complain about your little jedi. they are just fine. Eff the idea of taking jedi out.

I'd keep the jedi totally, just take away that frickin cheap 'saber throw. Man I hate that ability. And instead of havin the jedi on that stupid saber life bar, change it to a normal soldiers health bar. thats realistic. the jedi could maybe die alittle easier too, like normal soldiers. Also, its about time the soldiers have a melee. I NEED A MELEE!!! haha. bigger maps too. Lastly, its gotta be for ps2

i hope they have a better health system have one like the one in cod 4 or halo.

and i hope they don't have it like the one on the psp version where you can start out with three times health thats just unfair.

and it would be nice if you aim down sights with Lt/L1. also they need a fast shooting light smg, and heavy lmgs but they still shoot lasers like the assault rifles in previous batlefronts,

and may be even a light saber bayonet, and destroyable environments may be even be able the cut holes in walls with the light saber for a new vantage point.

and maybe have a unique story and campaign like playing as a rebel hero no ones heard about or a imperial general no ones heard about new characters but you can customize how they look.

and keep that game type like in the other ones its like domination but so much better because it combines it with a team death match which is why i've always loved battle front.

split screen online ( have up to 4 people on one console be able to go online)

map editor

party enabled matchmaking (aviod lag be able to play with friends on your side)

split screen/ online co-op (atleast 4 person co-op that can be online as well)

better campaign ( we've seen starwars have a new story in the star wars universe without jedi's with soldiers)

health system like cod 4

destroyable environments

melee

weapon attatchments

sprinting barrel roll

being able to shoot when you jump

split screen/online galactic conquest with none of the bull crap that was on renegade squadron

more weapons and be able to create classes

keep squad commands

make online fair don't have one side have vehicle's and the other not and don't make one sides vehicle's way better than the others( its okay to be outnumbered and out vehiceled in the campaign but not in versus)

keep land mines (i loved those)

more maps new planets new characters more weapons and explosives

Lt to aim (like in gears of war)

it would be cool if you could be a hero and kill people with 1 hit of your saber.it would also be good if you could have all good force powers for good guys and vice versa,also if you could have a customized soldier

Hey Factman, that is a great idea, but i would take it one step further into the death star. Imagine if you could fly into the construction site of the death star and blow it up. Awesome eh? Or if you could land the falcon in there. This would totally improve the game.

There are a few main things I have been trying to run into this game. I might have mentioned some of these before, but for summary's sake, will post them all together.

- More Co-op options. Options such as LAN or Split-screen.

- More Hero abilities. Making the Heroes with even more special abilities and unique attacks.

- More battlefronts. There should be several different battlefronts on a single planet. The numbers of planets won't change much, but there will be many more battlefronts.

- Scale of the battlefronts. Definitely the scale will have to be larger. This will mean not only larger battlefields, but also hundreds, even thousands of soldiers on the field. The idea is to have battlefields 20 to 50 times the size of the previous battlefields.

- Integrated space and land battles. The opportunity to seize a craft fly into the air shooting down soldiers or even going out into space to battle ships. Players can re-enter planets or re-exit at any time.

- Death Star as a planet. The Death Star will have integrated battles.

- Specialized missions. Although most will be in the form of a battlefront, some missions, such as the escape in the Death Star, will involve using a hero so achieve certain objectives. This will deviate from the battlefront mode, but will remain true to the story.

- Hero health meter. Indeed the hero draining meter will be removed. It was pointless and will be replaced with a normal meter.

- More attacking options. As a standard soldier, there will be more than one type of weapon per class. For a rifleman, there might be more than one type of rifle, and so on. This means that that class will be able to pick up certain weapons that pertain to their class, including enemies' weapons. Special weapons, such as lightsabres, will be able to be picked up by all, although a soldier with a lightsabre will only be able to use it crudely.

- Melee attack. There will be a melee attack for soldiers.

- More dispatching options. In missions, certain things will involve disarming and tying up enemies, or capturing and securing them, carrying them away. These sort of things will intensify the missions, and will not happen often.

- Use of the environment. Nearly everthing will have a purpose or use. Loose rocks may be thrown to injure or kill. Loose sand on a hill may be used for a landslide to wipe out groups of enemies. Pieces of machines may be cut up and used as weapons. Explosions will have effects on everything, as will bullets.

- There will also be an option to turn off the computers radar. This will allow you to snipe much more effectively.

- Prone will be reintroduced.

- Of course, improved graphics. Lightsabers will chop off arms and legs. However, a new thing will be the health due to injuries. A soldier with a chopped off arm will still be able to fight, if not as effectively. However, it must be contained before it kills the player. A player with chopped off or crushed legs might also be alive, but will not have long to live. For the human himself playing, cyborg attachments may be available in certain places, but it is unlikely that the loss of limbs will be a problem, as they should only occur marginally.

This, unless drastic circumstances arise, will be in the new game.
