Does anyone know how to jump the wall in Mario Raceway? I think you have to go up the hill at the beginning and boost off of it. It's impossible!

Thats a new one on me that could likely be helpful latter when im racing my dad.(he nearly always wins)

In Koopa Beach there is the big short-cut but if your not as confident on making the jump take this one. When you get6 to the lagoon, near the big short-cut, go right at the fork and take the sand bar. Watch for the crabs, taking this should jump you ahead a few places.

In mirror mode do you get anything for all golds.

The fastest yoshi route for me is left past the hedgehogs, across the thin path over the drop and straight on to the single path leading to the giant yoshi egg.

you can hop up after the first hill where the gray bricks are on choco mountain. do a mini turbo to get up there. it's a little easier with star. on yoshi valley, the fastest route is left right left on regular. if you can avoid the porcupines, it'll put you a few seconds ahead. when all the paths meet up, start a slide turn at the end of the rail to a 180 degree turn to land on the path below. in dk's jungle parkway, if you can manage to turn your kart to the left-hand corner of the cave coming out, lakitu will put you back in the cave to skip you a lap or you can hit the wall and fall back in the cave also. you can get stuck in the bat box in banshee boardwalk by being hit with a star or read shell. drive to the right-hand corner to get out.

In the Kalimary desert, on like before the second lap or something, get a star. on the 2nd lap, use it and before you go through the 2nd rail road crossing, turn left and go through the train tunnel. keep driving.... i think until the first opening and then exit. if you did it right (or if i remembered it correctly) when you finish the lap, you'll be one lap higher than normal.
CAUTION though it's been an extremely long time since i used this one so i might not have recalled it correctly, But there IS a shortcut like this!!!

I heard this rumour thats not true (to my knowledge) a cheat where you can enter a code on the character select screen to bring up the players Koopatroopa and Kamek (the magic koopa) although this isn't true, i did get it from a reliable source (i think). This one probably only rings true for the Japanese version of the game.

Regarding Kamek Kooopa, s/he was once a playable character instead of Wario. In one of the Nintendo Powermags i have it shows a picture of her in the top 4 during the race. Anyone who saw that issue (it's a reaalllly old one) will know what im tsalking about.

Re: Kamek. In a picture I got he is in place of DK. Oh - remember there are no codes for this game. Not even for the japanese version so there.

Once when I was in time trials on Toad turnpike I saw a ghost of my charater go right passed me and then vanished! I was playing with Toad.

you had to pause the game i think that's the only way to get of them

I hate those ghosts!
