I normally use Bowser. He's my favorite character.

I tend to vary it, i dont really have a favourite, i do have a disliked, mainly D.K, hate his car noise, sounds like a tank

I use Toad. He's the lightest and, to me at least, he hadles better than any of the other ones.

Yoshi is the character I always used, even when the game first came out when I was a kid.

I gotta go with Yoshi, he can move and turn real fast. His acceleration is his only weakness, as I do get occasionally passed in the straight-aways.

I mostly use Toad and Peach and sometimes Yoshi and DK. But I use DK on a 2-player vs. mode. Not on a grand prix.

I like Yoshi, and Toad the best. But kong is fun to play with as well.
