For the races i use yoshi, unless someone else gets him before i do, then i use toad.
for the battles i use wario.

i havent played this game in almost 7 tyears but i remember being hysterucally happy being the toad(i played this game first when i was3) so i think id use toad, anyways isnt he acceleration.

Toad has great acceleration, yes, and that is why I use him the most. It's all about the character in this game, unlike Double Dash./

i usually choase cars in games that heave good acceleratin becuase most eople think that if it has suerp speed it the best crar but if you carsh alot its not the best, and if it has almost no acceleration on a twisty tunry track even if you are godd that doesnt help much

I always used either Yoshi or Toad. I am not sure why.

Yoshi, Toad, and Peach are the fast group, Mario and Luigi the middle class, and DK, Bowser, and Wario the slower group. This is all on terms of acceleration though. There are some differences between members of the same group, such as Toad can't jump very well and is knocked around easier than anyone else.

For the character I use the most, it would be Luigi. Mostly because my brothers and sisters, or whoever else I'm playing with flocks over to the faster characters first.

Yeah they say since its fast its the best my friend always used donkey kong or bowser i always had yoshi toad or luigi

On a longer track, with more straight-aways and less sharp turns to make you slow down, and then have to accelerate to get back up to speed, Bowser, DK, or Wario would be the better choice. For tracks with a lot of turns and jumps (barring Toad), Yoshi and Peach will do just fine.

I always you Yoshi, he's fast and his steering technique is really good, wario's steering is really bad to me.

Wario is my preferred character. His buffness makes the smaller guys spin out, off the first boost.

I used to mainly use Bowser when I played this game. Something about ramming the lighter drivers out of the way with him seemed so awesome.
