First of all make sure your spelling and grammar is good so we know what you're saying. Second of all, just try speaking to them but don't get into sexual things.

The only way you are going to meet new people is if you progress to later levels. So you need to complete your gold wants and your platinum want to move onto the next level, there you live in a house with 3 other people aswell as their friends which can be contacted on the phone. I imagine you have gotten to a high level in your job but are still only on the 2nd house, this means that you can't progress so just make sure you get onto the next level.

Make sure your house has a phone and then start ringing people. Having a 30 minutes to a hour chat on the phone to a friend will help your social meter bar a lot. Just make sure you don't ring at 3 in the morning okay.
