Maybe if Resistance or Killzone were good games they would get alot of fanboy hype as well? No?

How can Resistance get hype. It's the first and we don't know about Killzone 2 yet.

The first Killzone was rather bad and i doubt this one will be much different.

It was not that bad and the first Warhawk was pretty bad aswell now look at it!

The first Halo was amazing. Sure, hype helped 2 and 3, but Halo 1 was good enough to make those games hyped. Plus 1 was completely unknown (at least to me).

I'm not seeing much (any) hype for Killzone 2, probably because 1 sucked. (In my opinion)

I preferred 2 better than 1. I have not played the third yet (been working), probably Saturday.

True but Halo: CE was the first Halo game, on the first Microsoft console and look how well that went down with everyone.

While thats true Steel it didn't have all the hype, as a matter of fact most didn't know about it until it got released. First games in the series usually doesn't get hyped up that much. I mean God of War 1 was the same as halo 1 in the sense that nobody knew about the game that much til it launched and now it definitely has alot of hype like halo but it actually deserves that hype and near perfect reviews.

Just because you weren't old enough to remember the Halo CE launch doesn't mean it wasn't hyped.

And 1st games in a series aren't hyped at all? Are you serious with this? Do I even have to go into the amount of games that get huge amounts of hype before their release?

Hey guys im getting a ps3 or a xbox 360 wich one is better?

At the moment the graphics are about the same and the Xbox 360 has the better library of games. But obviously that could change in the future.

Yes. All multiplatform games so far are identical in graphics but obviously the PS3 has a very slight advantage in hardware and the obvious advantage with the blu ray format disc.


The 360 has a better range of games and people I know who have both consoles prefer the 360. But the PS3 will bring titles to the table soon enough I think. It's got the most potential.

It is only a matter of time. Starting with the GTA 4 even though that's coming out also on 360. The series originated on Plastation, then Xbox followed.
