ET: Quake Wars or PGR4 |
|
I can't decide. I can only buy one. Saving up for new computer til' christmas. Want something to keep me busy until then.
I don't have any PGR game, and I'm thinking of buying PGR4. So it's quite a new experience, but I've always loved racing games, and this one looks fantastic. Quake Wars looks amazing also, (I will probably only play online.) A Battlefield 2142 mixed with Quake. HEELP! This message was edited by Pinkrhyno on Oct 08 2007. -------------------

Well it's difficult to compare two very different genres. All you'll get here is peoples opinions. You need to decide which genre you like playing more.

And that's why it's your opinion. I would much rather play Quake Wars on the PC. PGR4 is also supposed to be great.
This is going to be a matter of whether you prefer a FPS or a racing game. No one should make that decision except you. ------------------- ![]()

Well I would take PGR4 because I love racing games and I kinda dont like Quake Wars, but getting opinions really won't help because people are just going to say what they like and its always going to be different.

I say try the first Enemy territory first, (it's free, just Google for it.) If you like that one you'll like ETQW.

No way Zee! The first enemy territory is far different from Quake Wars in many ways. Weapons, environment, and the way it plays. The first enemy territories played more like an objective based Counter-Strike while Quake Wars plays more like Battlefield. So different.
Wolfenstein Enemy Territory is far superior.

It's not that different, Sure the world is bigger etc... but it still follows the same formula.

I think Quake Wars plays terrible to be completely honest Zee. I mean it just seems broken. It controls like shit and the guns aren't animated well nor do they sound cool.
