on my x-box when i turn it on and go to play cod 4 it says "to play this disc put it in an x-box 360 console. Does anyone know what to do

The xbox is thinking that its a DVD player(you get that message if you put a xbox game into something other than a xbox360) Does it happen on all games because i heard that it could have ot go off for repair if it keeps happening because of the reading lens

You have an Xbox 360 right, not an original Xbox?

If so, try giving the disc a clean with a cloth or something.

Its a common problem which quite a lot of people get. Clean the disc and try it again.

to clarify i have a 360 and when i try to play cod 4 it says insert the disc into an x-box 360 console. I would really like to know how much it would cost to fix the reading lense

If you have a warrenty sent it back to the shop otherwise i don't know any other way

Just clean the disk.

Mine does that , it says its a DVD. I just take it out or turn console off and on. It works fine!
