Hey, I have this memory card problem. I bought a memory card specifically because I knew I would have to come to the hospital, but I started the game at home;
9they have 360's at the hospital)

So anyways, I go in and put my game in, and memory card, all ready to play, and it brings up the language selection screen, and pressing start just gets me to the first cutscene. i know I have the data saved on the memory card, and I know the memory card is in the slot, so why is there not even a LOAD GAME option? What should I do. I put the memory card in alone without the game and looked and it said that my data was still there, so why can't I play the game from where I left off on my own Xbox?

You have to make the xbox use the data from your memory card.

DId you copy over your profile aswell?

if the game has no option of loading data from a memory card (some will ask where you want to load from, others wont) you have to copy the data from the memory card to the 360 first. then it should work fine.

also make sure to copy your profile over also just to make sure. let us know if you need help doing that.

Ah, Damn, no, and my profile, i think is saved to the hard drive. And the Xbox with my profile is still at home, and I have to stay at the hospital for another week before I get a break. But even after the break, I'll have to come back, so I'll need the memory card to work. How do I get my profile data transferred from my Hard Drive to my Memory Card?

Maybe you can force it by taking the Hard Drive out and just playing wit the Memory card and make sure the save game data is associated wit the profile youre using

Um, it's the hospital's 360. I can't force the hard drove out.

I get to go home in a week for a bit before coming back, though. So how can I transfer the profile I have on MY Xbox onto my memory card so that it is the profile that plays on another Xbox? So I can play my games that have saved data on them.

you can just take the HDD out, it has a button to release it then it pop right out. i doubt the hospital would mind. i would try forcing it like Duce said, if you cant transfer the data from the memory card, first.

No, the profile is already on my Hard Drive. I dont want to save the game I am playing to my hard drive, just my memory card. So isn't there a way I can take the information of my profile and copy it to my memory card without messing about taking the hard drive out?

can you not just move your gamertag (or recover it) to your memory card with the saved game? thereafter it should work fine

Yah Take The HD Out or you could migrate youre Profile online from the Hospitals XBOX n i wish i had a job where in my offtime i could play my 360

hes already in the hospital now so i think its too late. but i was assuming the 360 he owns did not have a HDD, otherwise he could simply take the HDD with him and use it on the hospital 360 instead of buying a memory card.

If The 360 Is Able To Get Online You Could Choose To Migrate It Over The Net But If You Cant Then Youll Have To Go Home And Transfer The Profile Manually, Or Just Take The HD With You Next Time

Yes, it has a Hard Drive.

And I will be going home for a few weeks before I have to come back here and stay awhile. So I wanted to make sure I knew HOW to transfer the profile manually to the Memort Card.

Also, the hospital's 360 cannot get online to migrate it via net.
