What have they made that is bad? I can understand if FF12 wasn't your style since that was the first FF game that i actually shelved after less than 2 hours of play. And i can understand if you are less than enthusiastic about titles like Chocobo Dungeon. But for the genres and groupd they are targeting they are doing extremely well.

I wouldn't mind another Vagrant Story or something like that either. Over the years I have become less of a Square fanboy, I literally used to buy anything and everything with the Square logo on it, including Bouncer. But I wouldn't say they have made anything bad. Just less appealing to certain consumers.

I haven't enjoyed anything made by Square since FFIX (only exception to this being KH).

Note how he said since, so that wouldn't include VII. I honestly can't believe you just said X-2 is better than IX.

I kinda like the game. I thought it was ok. But whatever floats his boat and yours as well. But I didn't like FFIX as much as other people. I kinda like LO more then FF7 at this point.

I can't wait for The Last Reminant. The current issue of OXM has a feature on it, and apparently it is a turn-based RPG, which makes me very happy.

Hmmm. Turn Based Rpg. i loved Lost Odysee but i am really not a huge fan of turn based rpg's asd I said never liked final fantasy. I hope not all are turn based

Thats whats wrong with the world of gaming today. Sure there are some amazing new games, with new concepts and ideas. But the kids who start out on such new rpgs just don't know what it was like playing the old school ones. They don't know a good game when they see one. OR for that matter they don't know a BAD game when they see one. They think its great! Go back to your roots RPGs. Go back to your roots...

People have the right to their own opinions, but I myself haven't really enjoyed a Square game since probably Kingdom Hearts 1 and FFX. I'm hoping that Star Ocean 4, Last Remnant or Infinite Undiscovery change my opinion.

EDIT: Oh, wait. I just remembered how awesome "The World Ends With You" for the DS was. Definitely check it out.

You know what square enix should do. Remake Terranigma. A non turn based old rpg with improved graphics but other than that all the same. Of course a Secret or Mana gamw would be equally good as that was one of my favorite old rpg's.

i love my 360 and the games i've bought.

however, i don't think the games mentioned in this thread look like they're going to be all that great. much like lost odyssey which i thought would be fantastic but ended up being a bit :/

you've just been complaining in several threads about not liking the 360 anymore and threatening to sell it for a PS3, etc. Oh, and don't forget the blind prophecy statment how the next FF will be pure gold.
