In the Code of Conduct or whatever it is on xbox live, cheating is defined as changing your xbox to give you an advantage (AKA modding) or something like that, I read about it somewhere but I forget what the exact line was that they used. It made sense though.

The guy's first post says he only wants to change the LED lights on his controller from green to red.

Unless that gives his console super powers, I don't think that gives him an advantage.
