Some of you may be aware that I have recently been suspended from Xbox Live due to not making payments because of a credit card expiring. That used to be fine, I was still able to go on the marketplace and send messages to friends.

No more than ten minutes ago I decided to plug my Xbox360 back up and download a few demos. I start up and get an xbox update (meaning my Internet connection is till fine) but when the system reboots and brings me back to the Sign-In blade, It says "Connect to Xbox LIVE" like usual. So I hit A, and does the typical load ring thingy and brings up the error that my account has been suspended.

Now I'm thinking, well can't I just have Silver instead of Gold like before...I hit A again to update profile and it takes me to the Account Management page, but before I can actually move about or change details, the loading icon appears for a brief moment and it quickly takes me back to the Sign-In blade, although I'm still signed in with my profile and my gamer picture and background are still there. Why the hell can't I update the account?

So I try again, I click on the "Connect to Xbox LIVE" option and then it signs me out completely where it says Join Xbox Live or Recover Gamertag... wtf, so I click Sign-In and go back into my profile and it brings up the error of the account being suspended.

It's just a vicious *bleep*ing cycle, I can't do diddly squat, can't connect to xbox live, talk to friends, send messages, even go into the Marketplace. I can only play DVDs or games.

Any ideas?

Edit: Now it won't even let me sign into my profile, this just keeps getting better.

Mine does the same.

I changed creditcard, and forgot the XBL payment. - Then I got suspended. Not even able to sign in, just like you descibe. It's frustrating. I created a new user, and it seems to work fine.

I already have another profile made, it's called Guest1. It's currently the only profile I can sign in with, but I'd have to sign up for Xbox LIVE again, and I just can't be bothered with it.

To be honest, this whole problem is a joke and a disgrace at that. Not only can I not use my Xbox properly now, they won't even let me sort out the problem. Microsoft can go *bleep* themselves if they think I'm gonna phone one of their shitty hotlines at £1 a minute.
