Hey,

I have been having problems ever since I have had any XBOX360 with my discs getting scratched by the machine and what not. For ages I have been going into GAME and getting replacement discs but I was wondering if I have a leg to stand on in ringing Microsoft about this problem and maybe getting something out of it?
I was speaking to some people at my school and they said that I could possible get replace discs and maybe other items for it. I know for sure they replace Microsoft games but I would like to know if anyone else has tried this and anything decent came out of it.
This isn't a big problem for me but I would like to take advantage out of the rare times it does my disc in beyond working.

if you want to stop this put some sort of shock absorber under it. mine hasnt scratched anything since i put a big, folded up towel under it

Well you could always install games to the hard drive if you have the new dashboard, it wont spin the disc that much and it will be much quieter too...

Only problem with that is

1) It will take up way too much room
2) If the disc is scratched then it won't get installed to the hard drive.


I mostly tend to have these problems with Fifa 08 and Fifa 09 and it splits from the middle into the silver bit and then it doesn't launch the disc unless I get lucky but Fifa 09 I have had it happen to yet. Could I get a replace disc from EA sports or something from EA sports for all this crap.

Fifa 08 I have had 8 discs.
Fifa 09 I have had 3 discs.
