Peggle is definitely one of the most addictive games on there. I would highly reccomend it. I haven't tried out Braid but Castle Crashers is always good fun. And it has plenty of unlockable characters. Splosion Man is also pretty good. Just try out the demos of them.

besides the 2 you are already planning on getting, Hexic and Peggle are good puzzle games. MVC2 is great if you like fighters. Splosion Man is alright, but personally i will wait till it goes on sale to get it. theres also The Maw by the same company, which i liked a lot better. being a tower defense fan, i like Defense Grid right now. and then theres always Symphony of the Night.

yeah i dont play any of those and i dont think many others here do either. good games of that kind are few and far between, the majority of them are just controller vibrator "apps" or ones where you press a button and get 50 gamerscore. so most are pointless from what ive heard. the Dishwasher one is the only one ive heard good things about.

I thought the same thing but figured there had to be atleast one or two gems in that category. Plus, I'm trying to figure out a way to spend my remaining 220 microsoft points.

But another game I liked on the live arcade was Uno. I was kind of cool to play with people with a few friends. I got it in the Sega Tennis/Xbox Arcade combo for ten bucks at my local gamestop. The arcade cd comes with about five games that are 400 points each so its a pretty good deal.

if you play Guitar Hero or Rock Band you can always get a new song for 160 i believe.

oh, and i just beat Beatles Rock Band story mode for guitar in about 4 hours.

Mass Effect vs CoD 3

Bargain gaming FTW

It matters. Do you enjoy waiting in an elevator? Or do you like playing a worse version of Cod4/5? If you're one of the people that hate WaW, then go for Mass Effect for sure.

TBH though, they are both amazing (for their price).

I really think Mass Effect would be a better choice. If you like it, your choices in the game can transfer to the sequel. And while it may not be the best shooter, it has a great story, intresting characters, and a lot of side missions. Plus, you can play it multiple times in many different ways from things like your class, the fate of your allies, and many other things I wont spoil.

The only drawback is the elevators you occasionally go on which isn't too often once you get exploring and the driving portions can be tedious. But overall, it is a better game in my opinion.

and thankfully in ME2 there are no more elevators!

but yeah its awesome, once you beat ME and have the story happen the way you want, when ME2 comes out, its like you are watching the sequel in which all the events are tied together.

yes Gears is worth getting.

I prefer like swordfighting rpg ( fable, obliivon etc ), FPS, racing and I like games like Metal gear solids for the Ps's

If you like Oblivion, RPGs and FPS's, you definitely want to check out Fallout. It's a great game, and isn't a "sword-swinging" RPG like Oblivion, but it's loads more fun in my opinion.

As for racing games, Need for Speed: Shift just came out, played it with my friend for about an hour, and it's pretty awesome. I don't even like racing games all that much.
