I was wondering, which should I get. Borderlands, or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2?

I don't want either more than the other, they both look awesome equally.

From what i can gather these are 2 different game styles, Borderlands is a cross between an RPG/FPS whereas COD MW2 is an out and out FPS. I guess it depends on your taste, if you like something a bit like Fallout 3 then go for Borderlands, if you love your shooters go for MW2.

If I'm honest between the two, I think Modern Warfare 2 will have better lasting value than Borderlands. I love a game like Fallout 3 though I must say, but as Kobie said, it's really about what you prefer.

I have borderlands and it is pretty good, but MW2 will have a much higher replay value. The multiplayer in Borderlands is ONLY co-op, no competitive multiplayer.

I'd reccomend Borderlands. It has a ton of replay value and it is a new IP. So you might as well support something new than Modern Warefare which already is going to sell well. But I just love RPG's so that's just me.

I'd probably get a week-long rental for Borderlands, then just buy MW2. Assuming you have a gold subscription to Xbox Live, MW2 will have much more replay value. However, it's the other way around if you don't have Xbox Live.

None, you should buy Left 4 Dead 2 instead, which will be much better than either of those games.

I think it's a question of wether you want a great solo experience or a great multiplayer experience.

I love borderlands, don't get me wrong, but it just seems so repetitive. Definitely go for Modern Warfare: 2. It looks like a more completed game tbh.
