If you cannot transfer your saves like some people are saying, how do you use your LIVE account on the 360? I have all my stuff saved on a Memory Card, not my Xbox harddrive (as I said before, it broke). Has Microsoft said anything on this?

Say your 12 month subscriptions expires do you have to get a whole new gamertag or can you keep the one you already have?

If its on the same platform then you can just re-new your gamertags subscription. So no you don't have to get a whole new gamertag

It works by linking your gamertag to your .net account from Xbox.com, if you have done this all you need to do is power on your 360 and enter your .net details and your information will transfer over.

I never had xbox live for the normal xbox but im planning on getting it for 360 and im not sure wat i need to get. Im in the process of getting a broadband internet. And i was wondering if it is basically an easy thing to set up

Can't you just enter the last 4 digits on the credit card you used to make your current account on the 360?

All you need to do to transfer the old account to the 360 is to select retrieve gamertag from the 360 dashboard, then enter the last four digits of the credit card number used, the old gamertag, and some other information like postal address.
