Have we been brainwashed into thinking we need an HDTV for the 360? Until now, I never even considered buying one and now I'm on the brink of getting one! They say "You don't need an HDTV for the 360" but it sounds like "Buy one or it won't look good!" -------------------  BACK FROM THE DEAD, ASSHOLES! | |

It's not brainwashing at all. HDTV is the next generation in visual representation. You have a next generation console, it only seems natural that you would have an HDTV. Besides, all XBOX360 games are supposed to support at least 720p, they're obviously stretching for the next generation experience. | |

i think i would be getting a 42"+ hdtv now but i just bought a new sony wega 27" for my room this summer. that would be $500 down the drain | |

I have been looking at them a lot recently but I have never really thought about getting one seriously, probably because a 360 is already taking the bisquit a bit while I am at university, although my Dad gave his blessing. ------------------- | |
